What this course is about
Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) lets a single database run across multiple servers at once, sharing one set of storage. It is how organisations get high availability and scalability for their most critical Oracle systems — if one node fails, the database keeps serving from the others, with no data loss and no extended outage. RAC is also one of the highest-value, hardest-to-find skills on a DBA's resume, precisely because it touches clustering, storage, networking and the database all at the same time.
This is a live, instructor-led course built around a working cluster. You won't just watch slides — you'll install Grid Infrastructure, configure ASM disk groups, deploy a genuine two-node RAC on Oracle 19c, then manage instances and nodes, add and remove a node, patch with opatchauto and deliberately break and recover the cluster so you learn to read the errors. Every session is taught live by our senior Oracle DBA instructors, who have run RAC on real production systems for over a decade.
