What this course is about
Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control is the single pane of glass for managing an entire Oracle estate — databases, listeners, hosts, Fusion Middleware and the cloud — from one console. Once you have ten, fifty or five hundred targets, you stop logging into servers one by one and start running everything through OEM: monitoring, alerting, performance diagnostics, patching jobs, compliance and reporting.
This is a live, hands-on course built on a real OEM 24ai Cloud Control deployment. You'll install the Oracle Management Service and repository, push out Management Agents, discover and add targets, and then work through the day-to-day that a DBA owning OEM actually does — monitoring with Performance Hub, managing incidents and alerts, scheduling jobs, setting blackouts, and configuring compliance, reporting and a DR strategy on cloud. Taught live by our senior Oracle DBA instructors, who have run OEM across production estates for over a decade.

This course is for working Oracle DBAs and admins who manage more than a handful of databases and want to run them centrally instead of server by server — and for anyone whose role or interview expects OEM Cloud Control experience. You'll get the most from it if you're comfortable with core Oracle administration and Linux. No prior OEM experience is needed; we install and build the environment together from the first session.
