Why Oracle 26ai now
Oracle AI Database 26ai is the latest long-term release of Oracle's converged database, the direct successor to 19c and 23ai. It keeps everything a production DBA already relies on — multitenant CDB/PDB, RMAN, Data Guard, RAC and performance tuning — and adds a new generation of AI-native features: AI Vector Search, in-database embedding models, Retrieval Augmented Generation, JSON Relational Duality, SQL Firewall and True Cache. This is a live, interactive course built for both newcomers and experienced DBAs. We start from Linux administration and 26ai architecture, build a real lab you install and operate yourself, and work all the way through to RAC, GoldenGate and OEM. Who it's for
This course suits beginners who want to become Oracle DBAs on the newest release, working DBAs on 11g/12c/19c who need to modernise their skills to 26ai, and developers and data engineers who want to add AI Vector Search and RAG on Oracle to their toolkit. No prior Oracle experience is required — we start from Linux and architecture — but a willingness to practise hands-on in the lab is essential.
